The name Brogan was a pen name I used when I published a few short stories in college. I also spent a few years doing renaissance fair and my preferred character was also named Brogan. To me, Brogan Video is a play of contrast and compromise. I use my technical and artistic skills to bring work with my clients and bring their ideas to life. Brogan is my mascot because it represents heedless enthusiasm and confidence.
Before I created Brogan Video, I was the co-owner of another videography company based in Southern California that I found with a college friend. After seven years of driving to L.A. several times a month, I got tired of it, and we decided to amicably part ways. So for the last six years, I’ve been working for and with my neighbors in the Greater Bay Area and the Tri-Valley.
I take great pride to call myself a small business and non-profit videographer. I have had the privilege to work on a very wide variety of projects, including commercials, technical videos, faith-based lecture series, mini-docs, and a feature film. While I like to work on projects of all sizes, I will always prefer a collaborative environment with other people. I studied theater arts at UC Irvine and the lessons I had learned from being on and behind stage inform my work daily.
I live now in Livermore with my wife and our rescue cats. My family has lived in Pleasanton since 1990. I enjoy hot tea, good movies, games, crafts, and art.
Most of all, I love what I do!
